Designer of the week: Cecilie Bahnsen

One of my favorite new designers, Cecilie Bahnsen, knows exactly how to do it each time. I fell in love with her creations when I first stumbled upon her signature open-back dress, about three years ago. The thinest, most adorable straps located at the back are there to secure the dress and make it so ethereal, unique and sexy. That really was for me. Sometimes one piece is enough to show you how bad you wanna be on the lookout for a new designer..

Her latest collaboration with Charles & Keith includes the most craveable shoes at the moment:)

Coming from Crete, GR these exceptional espadrilles are some pairs to become your new obsession. Each is one-of-a-kind and are handmade by local artisans, using the finest leather and cotton. I'm in love with the soleil and jade suede styles! And guess what? They are now on sale! Endless summer shoes is what I'm sayin':)

When I was asked from tosave.com team to choose some items from their online shop, there was a bit of a struggle cause the options were endless. The moment though my eyes stumbled upon this floral maxi dress I knew I've found the dress that would play a huge role during summer days. This dress has two things I love about: vintage boho feel and asymmetrical & airy style, both of which are great for hot, summer days.

Here, I decided to style it a bit whimsically with a pair of high-waisted, one of my favorite vintage shawls and these beach slippers, soon to become my everyday-to-go item:)

Rifle Paper Co. meets Keds

Aren't these sneakers the cutest? From one of my favorite illustrators, Anna Bond and her team at Rifle paper co. have just collaborated with major brand Keds to bring us a limited edition of three styles sneakers for your playful meets polished side! Just love 'em.

This time current mood is all about the spring staples and for me that means wardrobe essentials that are versatile enough to double up their role with all the season's ups and downs. An oversized jeans jacket that can be worn from day till night, patterned scarves that can be used with tons of ways (see worn as a head scarf), a classic black backpack that can as well serve as a weekend getaway bag or  the most comfy casual pants.

Well hello there!

I've been back and forth the last few days trying to adjust some things on the new template (! yes! Taste area has a new layout if you haven't noticed!) and I couldn't be happier with how it came out.
